Krystal Ramirez is an artist who currently resides in the sunny coast of southern California. Growing up, Krystal was surrounded by makers of all facets, from a Chef as her father, a sewer as her grandmother, to a crafter as her mother; being hands on was no stranger in her household. At the green age of eight, she was formally introduced to the fine arts, starting with drawing and painting as her emphasis that was carried on through high school. Graduating from the Orange County High School of the Arts, she explored many disciplines, but was deeply enamored with the metal arts. Specializing in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design, her passion for making earned her a B.F.A. from the California State University of Long Beach.
When she is not in the studio, Krystal enjoys spending time with her family, going on foodie ventures, and has a deep love for frolicking in flea markets (so long that they have elote y raspados).
